Qualifications The HR Generalist maintains the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office for several remote locations and Springs, Artesian Hotel, and Spa.
The HR Generalist maintains the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:
Human Resource Information Systems (Paycom), employee relations, recruiting, and employment.
The HR Generalist maintains Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
The HR Generalist maintains and coordinates services, policies, and programs implemented through Human Resources staff; reports to the Vice President of Human Resources, and assists and advises the Vice President of Human Resources about human resources issues.
Embodies Traditions Mission, Vision, and Core Values Responsible for all human resources activities included within interviewing and onboarding Responsible for onboarding new employees while training on how to perform each task Tracks onboarding tasks against a schedule and coordinate with internal staff to ensure goals are met on a timely basis Provides quality and timely responses/actions on-boarding activities Provides quality data entry in proper applications Assist in coordinating the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries Maintain professional relationship with Gaming Commission, Paycom Services and Hot Schedules; involvement in frequent webinars Assisting new applicants and new hires with all required paperwork Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations Assist new applicants and new hires with all required paperwork Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations Entering and maintaining all new hires and existing employees' information into the HRIS and Hot Schedules, update ABLE/Badge Information into Paycom, and Hot Schedules.
Responsible for ensuring all tax credit documentation is completed and mailed within the allotted time frame Enter all EEOC information into HRIS Employee services Trains employees on various topics Other duties as assigned OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Development of a superior workforce Perform specific research/investigation into operational and human resource issues Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email or in person Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork Interview job applicants; review applications/resumes; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications Assist with the development of company policies and procedures Assist the Vice President of Human Resources with special projects as needed Track human resource information to ensure legal compliance regarding licensure Uniforms and/or clothing should always be business professional Create and support an environment of teamwork by helping a fellow employee or guest without a second thought Superior attendance and punctuality Attendance in mandatory meetings, training workshops and/or seminars Maintain confidentiality in all matters Adhere to organization policies and procedures REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):
Must be 21 of age or older Education High school degree or equivalent, college degree preferred Experience 4
year experience in Human Resources, 2
years experience in Hospitality or Customer Service Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines.
Knowledge of federal and state employment and benefits laws.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
This is normally acquired through a combination of completing of a Bachelor's Degree and one to three years of human resources and payroll experience.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Excellent oral and written communication skills Advanced computer skills, ability to compose and crate reports, letters and memos Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters Required knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records and other office processes, procedures and terminology Ability read and understand information and ideas presented in writing Excellent math skills Knowledge of Microsoft Applications Excellent organization and problem solving skills WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT :

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
